At Trade Winds Nautical, we take your privacy and security very seriously. As a result, Trade Winds Nautical uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology to protect the privacy of the information you provide us. SSL encryption scrambles the personal and financial data traveling from your computer to our website to ensure the information is never lost, stolen, misused or altered.

Privacy

Trade Winds Nautical will never sell, trade or rent your personal information with any third party entity. Information such as names, addresses, emails and personal comments will be retained by Trade Winds Nautical in order to improve the customer experience and to process your order with us online. Credit card information is not retained after the transaction is completed. There is no need for us to retain this information. You will be prompted to reenter your credit card information when making future purchases. If Trade Winds Nautical customers wish to leave a testimonial in our comments section, we will first ask for your permission to reprint or use this information.

Method of Payment

Trade Winds Nautical accepts Visa, MasterCard, Descover Card and PayPal using SSL encryption technology to ensure your financial security.

Shipping

Once an order is placed with Trade Winds Nautical, the order process takes 7-10 business days to complete. This is due to the custom nature of chart selection, sizing and/or imaging. All orders will be shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS ground) or USPS and will take 2- 5 days to deliver depending on your location.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, do so within 12 hours of initial order time. Merchandise is submitted to our finishing specialist the following morning in order to process your order effectively. Please call our office at 401-225-5974.

Sales Tax

If your order is shipped within the state of Rhode Island, a 7% sales tax will be assessed.

Returns

Returns can only be made upon receiving a Return Authorization (RA) number from Trade Winds Nautical. RA numbers are only provided if there is a manufacturer's defect with your product. We do not take returns for normal wear and tear or for improper sizes as ordered by a customer. All Trade Winds Nautical products are custom and are made to order per your specifications. If there is a manufacturer's defect, we will ship a replacement item at no cost to you. Returns must be placed within 3 working days of receipt of goods and must include original packaging.

Warrantee

A one year manufacturer's warrantee from date of purchase is provided for normal use only.
